Today was a wonderful day in my life where i was able to see " The Missile Man of India" ,The Most Reputed Former President of India Dr.A.P.J.Abdul kalam @ PSG IMS,Coimbatore.Thanks to Viveik Balakrishnan ,We got a VIP Pass for the Program via the Lions Club International Membership of his Father.We Started by five and reached the Venue by 5.30 P.M. in the evening.So disappointed i was,Because the President Came only by 8.15 PM.But i had Company.So i felt Comfortable for those 2.30 hours.
When he entered the Arena,he was given a warm Welcome by the people and lots of security concerns kept us at a distance from him.Then after various formalities of Momentum and stuffs,he delivered the Inspiring Speech,for which we were waiting eagerly.The Arena Burst into a Massive Applause when he delivered His Speech in Tamil.
He Started the Speech by Congratulating the Lions Club people for their various Social-Welfare programmes.Then he made the Gathering to Repeat the Famous Poem-by Tamil Patti- Ovvayar
“aridhu aridhu manidarai pirathal aridhu
adhaninum aridhu goon kurudu sevidu pedu neengi pirathal aridhu
nyanamum kalviyum nayathal aridhu
nyanamum kalviyum nayatha kalaiyum
dhanamum dhanamum seivadharidhu
dhanamum dhanamum seivarayin
vanavar naduvazhi thirandhidume…”
to which each and everyone in the gathering recited like a manthra.Then He made us to make a oath that we will plant A TREE and maintain it.
A Man of Simplicity...What a Eminent person he is.A Man of Inspiration....
The day Concluded with a Wonderful Dinner sponsored by Lions Club International.
